Entry Formalities
- French and European Union Nationals: national identity card or passport.
- USA and Canadian citizens: passport, no visa required for stays of less than 3 months.
- For all non-residents, a return ticket is compulsory.
Health Formalities
No vaccinations required, except for people from South America and Africa, for whom an international vaccination certificate covering yellow fever may be required.
Languages
French and Creole. The most frequently spoken languages, English, German, Italian
and Spanish, are accessible at most sites depending on the type of events organized and participants' origin.
Public Transportation
Martinique has an urban and inter-urban bus service. Collective taxis run early in the morning until 6 pm. This means of transport, used by many locals, is an excellent way to discover the picturesque atmosphere of the country. There is also a sea shuttle service between Fort-de-France and Trois-llets.
